QL Claw - The Best Lower Back Muscle Release Tool
What Is The QL Claw? A Massage Tool For Back Muscles
QL Claw is a versatile deep tissue massage tool. Its sturdy base is 10x3 inches in size, and its material is a flexible, yet solid, therapeutic masterpiece. QL Claw was not only designed to be a massage tool for the back, but also for the glutes and hip flexors - which can contribute to a lot of lower back pain. QL Claw is the one stop shop for muscle induced lower back pain caused by trigger points, knots, and tightness.
Origin Of QL Claw - A Massage Tool For Lower Back Pain
Like all product origin stories, QL Claw was created by a chronic lower back pain sufferer in an engineering shop in Madison, WI. The young founder suffered for 4 years of debilitating lower back pain, and simply could not find relief. The founder had countless failed treatment attempts by Chiropractors, Physical Therapists, and even Physicians. One thing that all of these professionals overlooked was muscle pain and trigger points. It was at this point that the founder set out to solve his back pain once and for all, and began his journey to create the best massage tool for back muscle pain on the market. The Most Versatile Massage Tool For Back Muscle Pain
In order to be the best massage tool for back issues, a tool must be able to massage each muscle that could be contributing to lower back pain. In my research and experience, there is only one product that has achieved this - and it is (shockingly) QL Claw. Here are the main 6 muscles that the QL Claw tool can effectively release that could be contributing to pain in the lower back and hips:
Quadratus Lumborum (QL):
Quadratus Lumborum (QL) is a deep lower back muscle that lies on both sides of the lumbar spine. When picturing lower back massage done by the thumbs or knuckles of a physical or massage therapist, QL is typically a primary target. Effective QL release can break up all sorts of tension, tightness, and trigger points that constantly tug on the lower back.
Gluteus Medius:
Gluteus Medius is an upper glute muscle that has the capacity to wreak havoc on the lower back, glutes, and hips in the body. Gluteus Medius is another favorite target of massage therapists - because it is known in their community that the glutes, and the upper glutes in particular, can refer a lot of pain to the lower back. Gluteus Medius release with QL Claw is simple and can be extremely therapeutic. QL Claw is an especially nice massage tool for this function because it stays solid on the ground, unlike a ball.
Psoas:
Psoas is a large, thick hip flexor muscle that connects from the lumbar vertebrae to the top of the femur. Psoas runs right through the guts and can be difficult to access with traditional massage tools for back muscle pain. One demographic that tends to suffer from chronic Psoas tightness is desk job workers - due to the shortening of Psoas that happens when sitting. QL Claw is an effective massage tool for Psoas release, which can free up a lot of tension on the back.
Iliacus:
Iliacus, like Psoas, is a hip flexor muscle that can refer a lot of pain to the lower back. There are massage tools that are designed solely for Psoas OR Iliacus release, but QL Claw can effectively massage both muscles. Iliacus release is quite simple with QL Claw, as its trigger portion is an awesome massage tool for the Iliacus muscle.
Piriformis:
Piriformis is a deep glute muscle that can cause a lot of pain in the tailbone and outer glute areas. The Piriformis muscle is also the force that can cause Piriformis Syndrome, a phenomenon where the Piriformis muscle gets so tight that it compresses the sciatic nerve and shoots pain, numbness, and/or tingling down the leg. Piriformis release is also simple and effective with QL Claw. Using QL Claw as a Piriformis massage tool and learning how to sit with Piriformis Syndrome can relieve a ton of pain in the body.
Tensor Fasciae Latae (TFL):
Tensor Fasciae Latae (TFL) is the outermost hip flexor muscle in the body. TFL contains the IT Band tendon which is a popular source of pain in the running community. Using a massage tool for TFL relief can be very therapeutic for muscle pain on the outside hips of the body, as well as for IT Band tightness. TFL release using QL Claw is simple and can provide relief very quickly.
